Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using the FairTrades website, applications, or services (collectively, the “Platform”), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree with any part of these terms, you must discontinue use of the Platform immediately.
Accounts and Eligibility
Users must provide accurate, current, and complete information when creating an account. You are responsible for safeguarding your login credentials and for all activities conducted under your account. Notify FairTrades promptly if you suspect unauthorised use or security breaches.
Posting Jobs and Quotes
Homeowners and tradies must submit genuine project requests, quotes, and responses. Content that is false, misleading, spam, or offensive is prohibited. FairTrades reserves the right to remove any content that violates these standards or applicable New Zealand laws.
Payments and Subscriptions
FairTrades offers Free, Pro, and Business plans for tradies. Existing Basic subscribers retain their account-specific legacy plan. Subscription fees are billed according to the selected plan and renewal cycle. All payments are subject to Stripe’s terms and we do not store full payment card details on our servers.
Intellectual Property
All content, branding, software, and design elements on the Platform are owned by or licensed to FairTrades NZ. You may not copy, reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works without our prior written consent.
Limitation of Liability
FairTrades facilitates introductions between homeowners and tradies but does not guarantee project outcomes. We are not responsible for disputes, damages, or losses arising from user interactions, agreements, or activities that occur outside of the Platform.
Modifications to These Terms
We may modify these Terms of Service to reflect changes to our Platform or legal requirements. When updates occur, we will provide notice through the Platform or by email. Continued use after notice constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
