Floor Tiling

Floor tiling is often part of a bathroom, kitchen, entry or laundry project. A tiler needs to understand the substrate, room use and finish you are aiming for.

When to ask for help

  • Existing tiles are cracked, loose or dated, or a room is being renovated.
  • You need a durable finish for a wet area, entry or kitchen.

What to include in your job post

  • Share room measurements, photos of the current floor and the tile size or product if selected.
  • Mention underfloor heating, drains, waterproofing or adjacent rooms that need a neat transition.

What can affect the scope

  • Subfloor preparation, removal of old finishes, layout and tile material affect time and waste.
  • Wet-area waterproofing and drain falls need to be planned with the wider renovation.
